History

EView Technology is a privately-held company based in Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina. It was founded in March 2000. The company's legacy was the development of custom OEM software solutions for other major vendors in the SNMP area for their customers IBM legacy environments. The target market was to provide added value software agents to other vendor's software platforms. The company has developed solutions for Cabletron (Spectrum), Cisco Systems (CiscoWorks), Groupe Bull (ISM), Micromuse (Netcool), and Xerox (PrinterMap).

Our expertise and focus is on developing software and solutions for IBM Legacy mainframe (OS/390 - z/OS) and iSeries (AS/400) computing environments using a consolidated enterprise operations management console.

In 2001, Hewlett Packard (HP) Software and EView Technology began a close partnership to where EView Technology would develop solutions to monitor and manage the IBM legacy mainframe and midrange (AS/400 - iSeries) environments via the HP OpenView Operations (OVO) Management platform. HP marketed, under an OEM agreement and HP brand name, as the OS/390 Management and OS/400 Management products for the UNIX platform.

These products were so well received in the marketplace; EView Technology enhanced the products to integrate with the HP OVO for Windows platform in 2004. These were known as EView/390 Management and EView/400 Management, and sold directly through EView Technology and our global partner network.

The products continued to develop and in early 2008 the products were renamed EView/390z and EView/400i to align with the current IBM nomenclature. These contained significant product feature/function enhancements over previous versions of the software. EView/390z version 6 was released in June of 2008 and EView/400i version 6 is to be released in 1st Q 2009.

In August 2008, HP Software transitioned all levels of customer support worldwide for the HP-branded OpenView OS/390 Management and OpenView OS/400 Management for HP Operations Manager products to EView Technology. The new support structure enabled customers to have a direct line to the EView support team which has extensive expertise in both the IBM and HP Software portfolio.

Also, HP Software and EView Technology expanded the overall relationship by moving the sales of the products into the HP Marketplace. All new product sales were for only the EView-branded solutions and the product availability is directly from EView Technology and our global partner network. This new phase of the relationship further cemented HP and EView Technology's commitment to the customers in offering the most complete and comprehensive enterprise IT operations solution in the marketplace.

Today EView Technology continues to grow and has hundreds of customers in over 30 countries worldwide. Customers come from a wide range of industries including: financial, insurance, utilities, government, retail, manufacturing and managed services.

Throughout our history, customers have selected EView Technology because of our commitment providing the best solutions that meet customer needs and delivering the highest level of individualized customer service to all of our customers. We will continue to do so in the future as we grow our customer and partner base and continue to enhance and expand our product offerings.
