EView/400i Management

As a tightly integrated component of the HP Operations Manager solution, EView/400i Management extends management of the IT environment to IBM OS/400 domains. This allows enterprises to integrate iSeries (AS/400) systems into the Operations Center environment, optimizing operational efficiencies and cutting costs by centralizing operations event and system performance management. EView/400i enables IT Operations to monitor, correlate, control, and report the performance and health IT environment including the IBM iSeries (AS/400) domains. . Advanced capabilities include:

EView/390z Management

As a tightly integrated component of the HP Operations Manager solution, EView/390z Management extends management of the IT environment to IBM OS/390 - z/OS domains. This allows enterprises to integrate OS/390–z/OS systems into the Operations Center environment, optimizing operational efficiencies and cutting costs by centralizing operations event and system performance management. EView/390z also monitors the status and health of the z/OS system and its standard applications. EView/390z allows you to take immediate corrective action, based upon the centrally deployed policies for important or critical messages or events.

Sophisticated z/OS event status management of any messages which go through the z/OS console to establish proactive enterprise systems management.
2-way communication with the z/OS systems and HP Operations Manager maximizes problem resolution and bi-directional acknowledgement of messages coming from the mainframe console or other message sources like VTAM and system applications.
Direct message interface enables sending messages from applications programs to the Operations Manager server through the EView/390z agent without having to send the message to the operating system console.
Expanded message automation using HP Operations Manager policies or REXX execs through the EView/390z agent.
