EView Technology and HP Software Integrate Management of IBM z/OS mainframe environment with HP Operations Manager for one of Europe's Largest Bank Institutions

The customer is one of the world's top-ten banking groups with over 10,000 branches in 50 countries all around the globe more than 40 million customers and 180,000 employees. With the acquisition of new entities and the need to consolidate and streamline operations, were significant business drivers to the requirement for a more robust, reliable, efficient, and proven tool to manage their IBM z/OS mainframe environment and to consolidate their monitoring tools under a common platform.

Pleased with its HP Operations environment, the customer turned to their HP and EView Technology for help in integrating the operations management of their IBM z/OS mainframes in Italy and Germany, using EView/390z.

EView/390z, integrated with HP Software Operations Manager, provides the customer a complete, integrated enterprise operations management console vs. having to use multiple tools to manage the various enterprise operations environments and relying on a "homegrown" solution to manage their key server environment. HP Operations and EView/390z has significantly enabled cost reduction, lowered the customer's overhead, and increased their operational efficiency through centralized management.
